High-speed wireless via fiber-optic – Stay connected even in the mountains! Each cabin has its own wireless
access point providing strong signal strength inside and outside the cabin. The 100Mb download and upload

Phone – each cabin has a VOIP phone with unlimited local and long-distance service (US only). This can be
helpful if your cell phone doesn’t work while visiting (currently only Verizon and AT&T provide cell service at
the cabins.) Each cabin has its own phone number and friends/families can call guests directly.

Electric Vehicle Charging station – We have installed a Chargepoint level 2 electric vehicle charging station for
the cabin guests to charge their EV for FREE. Depending on the vehicle, it will charge at a rate up to 40 miles
per hour (my Kona EV charges at about 30 miles per hour). Guests can easily recharge their EV after a day of
exploring the mountains. The charger has a standard J1772 plug which works on all EVs including Teslas (using
the J1772-Tesla adapter that comes with Tesla vehicles). (Photos of charging station)
Local Attractions
Towns County Chamber of Commerce
The local chamber of commerce is a great place that has information on all local events and things to do in the
area. They are only two miles from the cabins, so when visiting you can also stop in and talk with the staff for
ideas and pick up brochures. They are super friendly and helpful! Their website has the most current
information on upcoming events and web links to the local attractions.
Hiking & Mountain Biking Trails – There are more trails than we could possibly list here. From waterfalls, to the
Appalachian trail to the highest point in GA (Brasstown Bald) the adventures are endless. The Towns
County Chamber of Commerce has maps/brochures and the GA DNR (Department of Natural
Resources) has great on-line information too

Lake Chatuge – Beautiful lake surrounded by mountains with all the fun water activities!
Chatuge Dam – Nice, paved path with beautiful views of Lake Chatuge and the surrounding mountains. It is excellent
for walking, exercising and even bringing you four-legged friends.

restaurants, bowling alleys and game rooms. Sports betting is now also available!
Harrah’s Cherokee –It’s about an hour and fifteen-minute drive to the large resort and casino in Cherokee, NC
Harrah’s Valley River – The new smaller Harrah’s casino is only 30 minutes away in Murphy, NC.
